A customized ERPNext implementation for a self-storage company covering storage units, customer rental contracts, recurring billing, and accounting in one platform. Delivered while working at OptiFlow, where I contributed to the data modelling, customization, and implementation.

Key responsibilities
- Modelled storage units and rental contracts as first-class records in ERPNext
- Configured recurring billing and invoicing cycles for ongoing rentals
- Set up customer and lead management for enquiries and conversions
- Integrated rental billing with the accounting module
- Built occupancy and revenue reporting for management
- Supported rollout and staff training
Technical contributions
- Designed custom DocTypes for storage units and rental agreements
- Automated recurring invoice generation through the Frappe scheduler
- Implemented Python validation to prevent double-booked or overlapping rentals
- Developed occupancy and recurring-revenue reports
- Containerized the deployment with Docker
Business impact
Gave the business full control over units, contracts, and recurring revenue through a single ERP platform instead of manual record-keeping.
