The HR module of the ERP system for Ibrahim M. AL Aboud for Development Co, a Saudi contracting and maintenance company operating since its incorporation and classified by the contractors classification agency across buildings, roads, water and sewage, electrical works, and dams. Developed as part of my work at OptiFlow, contributing to the module's development, customization, and implementation.

Key responsibilities
- Built the employee master covering personal details, employment contracts, job classification, and site assignment
- Configured the organizational structure — departments, designations, reporting lines, and project-based deployment
- Implemented attendance management for shift and site-based crews, including overtime capture
- Built leave management across annual, sick, and unpaid types with entitlement accrual, balances, and approval routing
- Configured payroll with salary structures, housing and transport allowances, overtime, and statutory deductions
- Implemented end-of-service benefit calculation based on service length and contract terms
- Built document expiry tracking for residency permits, passports, contracts, and medical insurance with advance alerts
- Implemented employee loans and salary advances with automatic payroll recovery
- Delivered employee self-service for leave requests and payslip access
- Built HR reporting on headcount, attendance, payroll registers, and end-of-service liability
- Supported data migration from existing records, user acceptance testing, training, and go-live
Technical contributions
- Customized HR DocTypes for employees, contracts, organizational structure, and employment history
- Implemented leave and attendance workflows with multi-level approval routing and delegation
- Configured salary structures and components with formula-driven allowances and statutory deductions
- Automated end-of-service benefit accrual through scheduled Python jobs so liability stays current
- Built a scheduled document expiry notification job alerting HR ahead of permit and contract lapses
- Implemented Python server-side validation preventing overlapping leave, negative balances, and duplicate attendance
- Automated loan and advance recovery as recurring payroll deductions until settlement
- Developed headcount, attendance, payroll register, and end-of-service liability reports
- Configured role-based permissions separating HR administration, line-manager approval, and employee self-service

Replaced manual personnel record-keeping with structured HR operations across a distributed contracting workforce, keeping payroll, leave entitlements, end-of-service liability, and permit renewals under control.
